Switch-Pros Ground Block Now Available
The Switch-Pros Ground Block is now available for both the 9100 and RCR — and it shipped the way we designed it from the start: as a complete, configured kit ready to install.
We announced this project in October 2024. The goal was straightforward: give Switch-Pros owners a grounding solution that matched the quality and waterproofing of the Switch-Pros system itself, without requiring specialized tools or connector experience. A single centralized ground return point, sealed against mud and moisture, with everything needed to build a custom-length harness included in the box.
That's exactly what shipped.
What's in the Kit
Each ground block kit includes the CNC-machined billet aluminum ground block, a negative cable with a ring terminal for the battery connection, a wiring harness with pre-terminated pigtails, and all hardware. You cut each circuit to length, join to your accessory connector with a soldered heat-shrink butt connector, and you're done. Tools required: diagonal cutters, wire strippers, and a heat gun or lighter.
The 9100 kit uses tin-plated terminals. The RCR kit uses gold-plated terminals. Both are matched to their respective Switch-Pros connector specs.
Two Versions — One for Each System
The 9100 and RCR have different channel counts, current ratings, and connector configurations. The ground blocks are purpose-built for each — they are not interchangeable.
Made in Woodland, CA — All the Way Through
Like every Reed Made Speed product, both ground blocks are CNC-machined in Woodland, CA, with US materials and tools. Not assembled from imported blanks — machined here, start to finish. That includes the PCBs: designed, fabricated, and assembled in-house right here in the USA. When we say made in the USA, we mean the whole thing.
